Penggunaan Audacity pada Pengukuran Nada Lantunan Kalero untuk Menelusuri Karakter Sosial Dou Donggo Masa Lampau
Abstract
Studi tentang penelusuran karakter sosial komunitas masyarakat di Kabupaten Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat pada periodenisasi bersadasarkan penerimaan jenis musik belum dilakukan. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk menelusuri karakter sosial masyarakat Donggo berdasarkan jenis musik yang dinikmati. Satu diantara beberapa lantunan khas Dou Donggo (orang Donggo) sebelum menggunakan alat musik alat bunyi adalah kalero. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis frekuensi, level bunyi dan nada lantunan kalero menggunakan softwere audacity. Frekuensi, level bunyi dan nada yang telah diketahui tersebut kemudian dihubungkan dengan kecenderungan karakter sosial yang terbentuk. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan karakter Dou Donggo Lampau yang ditelusuri melalui lantunan kalero adalah optimis. Tingkat keoptimisan bisa dilihat dari penggunaan kalero pada kegiatan-kegiatan spiritual keyakinan, pernikahan atau untuk menghibur keluarga kerajaan.
